Pavers and Tiles

Granite pavers have in recent years been replacing sidewalks in many cities throughout the world. They are typically used for heavy foot traffic, interior and exterior applications. Because they are made of granite, they are virtually impervious to weather, wear and abuse. Additionally, when ordered with a thermal top, they provide a rough non-slip surface with which to walk. They are easy to install and are maintenance free. Pavers are usually quarry run which means they are subject to variations in color and shade. Typically, pavers are set in a one to two inch wet mortar bed or compacted sand/gravel base. The top is usually thermal with the sides and bottom sawn.
