Dakota Granite Wins Award at National Show (Jun 16, 2006)
Dakota Granite recently attended and exhibited at the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) Show and Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada in March, 2006. CSI highlights the construction industry's research and education of its members on the guidelines and universal specifications in the construction industry.
Exhibitors of this show are composed of a wide variety of companies who provide products and services to the construction industry, which is made up of contractors, masons, architects, specifiers and engineers.
Dakota Granite's contribution consisted of a 10'x20' booth which showcased a granite landscaping wall, stair steps, thermal granite pavers and an all polished granite cocktail bar. Dakota Granite was fortunate to have won the Merit Award for Midsize booths, which is given in recognition for an outstanding booth in comparison to other booths of similar size.
According to Rick Dilts, VP of Sales and Marketing at Dakota Granite Company, "We felt honored to receive an award for our display considering this was only our 2nd year here. It's a great show to get our products in front of specifiers, architects and contractors. We're able to introduce products to them that they might not otherwise be familiar with and it's an awful big industry, so we can cover a lot of potential customers in a very short amount of time."
Next years CSI show will be held in Baltimore on June 20-22.
